True Detective Magazine

True Detective magazine sent my mother a letter shortly after I went no contact. A copy of it fell into enemy hands. (mine) And so I give it to you. It's sounds like it was written by someone who had just figured out she is a sociopath and was reading up on narcissistic personality disorder.

In fact, we would also consider further financial incentives for your biography with exclusive rights to other publications, film or other electronic media dissemination. Please be advised we will be required to fact check certain aspects of your recollections including DNA samples from you and your son and daughter as well.
However, please be further advised we do not question your veracity nor wish to infer or suggest in any way your recall will not simply verify your excellent memory, consummate acting abilities and blatant pathology. For your convenience, enclosed please find a self-addressed postage paid envelope for your reply. Please remember Ms. Barbarian, this is a time limited offer as you're not getting any younger and your progeny may be contacted after your demise for information. Consequently, we would prefer to speak with you directly for posterity's sake as well as your own least your reputation be sullied unnecessarily by your children. She would shit a brick if she thought me or sis might get a dime from her in any form or fashion.

That's exactly why I put it in there. If the fear of her kids talking to a "Periodical" (no, Ms. Barbarian, that has nothing to do with what use to happen to you about once a month) wasn't enough of a motivator, money would SURELY get her attention and even MORE so if you "ungrateful snot-nosed brats" (courtesy of the fine Christian folks at DS) might get it instead of HER.
Wahh, I do declare, that prospect would give heah the vapas!

I think this should be a story on one of the MSNBC weekend shows they run about notorious criminals or psychopaths. Or even better, propose something to the POV (Point of View) folks who fund that series of individual filmmakers' stories. I think it would make a killer P.O.V. episode. Especially if you put your poems to music as songs (they read as songs).

Back when she was running amok I would agree. Her story would have sold like hotcakes. What am I talking about. The "letter" from True Detective was me. But she was really featured in that magazine.
OK! LISTEN UP!
TRUE-DETECTIVE-MAGAZINE-RAN-A-STORY-ON-HER!!!!
It was at all the places you see True Detective magazine on sale.
Drug stores Wal-Marts etc. They ran it sometime in 1968.
And they were not as kind as the Dallas Morning News.
They were free to do all the supposition we do here.
But I am not so sure it would attract that much attention now. It might if it was well written.
I swear I have a copy somewhere and my mother does too.

Maybe Anne Rule could write it. I'm sure we could come up with some good titles for it-and maybe a couple of sequels as well. Not to mention a made-for-tv-biopic. You know, kind of like "The Barbarian Chronicles, Pt. I", Part II etc. all the way to "Part Ad Nauseam." It would be pretty cheap to make-a few shots of the jail, court house, a farm house or two, and a few old vehicle backseats. The rest could be shot on the set of any el cheapo Adult Entertainment "stage."
Kind of like the real underside of "Mad Men." We'll do a fund raiser to send you and Sis to Hollywood! Or better yet, let them come to you!

I watch a lot of true crime television. During the show I will think that the Barbarian has nothing on people today.
BUT!
1 she planned to rob her husbands boss
2 lured him to another state
3 set him up for her BF to rob and look like a random act
4 botched it
5 lured him to her home after
6 really botched it by killing the guy
7 dumped him in his car on the side of the road
8 met her husband in a totally different state and showed up like nothing ever happened

9) cops came before she could unpack her suitcase and dragged her off in handcuffs

She could have appeared in a "Secret Deodorant" Commercial.
Never let 'em see ya sweat.

I think I know a few guys who would disagree with that statement!

You don't have to actually sell a story or write a book or do a t.v. show about her to bug her. Just make her think you're doing it, that you sold your story that disses her and sets the record straight, and got big bucks for it. With her ego she would just assume of course she would be the subject of some scandalous show. But then again, she's so perverse it might have the opposite affect and she'd be all happy that she got some attention again.

You never know how to play it with her so you never can win.
