The best apology

I usually don't like those platitude type slogan deals but this hits the spot and it's something my sister sent.

I change my underwear once a week whether it needs it or not.

For me, it depends on the person spouting the platitude. If the person is a lying dickwad, then it's just another empty statement. If the person is sincere and honorable, then it potentially has meaning. For me, it's a consider the source kind of deal.

They don't change, and when it seems like they do, watch out.

Sort of hybrid of consider the source and stupid is as stupid does.

Any change with a narc will be a good acting job and yeah like Joan said, WATCH OUT.

I'm tired as hell with the Fix-it queens telling me to change. They are perfect you know...

Most people don't practice this one and give lip service to apologies. Although my mother never bothered with false apologies either because she thinks she never does anything wrong.

I never heard my mother back off or back down one single time. In the morass of her many misdeeds she just chugged along like the little sociopath that could. I think along the way her mother and my father found it more expedient to just let her live in her delusion than to piss away the effort to get her to change. She took "my way or the highway" to dizzying new heights, or lows depending on your perspective......Read that as she thought she was fine and if her subordinates didn't like it they could fuck off and die. Which is ironic seeing how she is the main one who has fucked off and died. Hardee har har!

"Fix it queens" you better trademark that before some narc steals it from you.

Ok it's my own invented term. "Fix It Queens" TM :P

I am so tired of them, I'm ready to puke.

The types who had life so perfect they expect yours to be perfect too.

Did your grandparents show any signs of narcdom. I think you have written about a loving grandmother. I am sure some are normal people in shock by their genetic defect and "bad seed" that has arisen in their house, other well they made them that way, and are that way. My grandmother was as cold as my mother and grandfather not much different. Mine always has gotten her way. It's sick. Age always catches up with them.

I never got a fake apology in my life ever. She's perfect, completely perfect in her mind.

Any normal behavior you see from me or my sister is solely because of them. I didn't know my mothers father because he died before I was born but the three that were left were some of the finest people you would ever care to find. That why I wonder how my mother got so incredibly insane.

I also think it's why my mother never said anything. Any body with the slightest bit of normal thinking would watch her and be too disarmed by her for lack of a better word Moxie that they were inactivated
